What is ETIAS?
ETIAS stands for "European Travel Information and Authorization System." It is an electronic travel authorization that is being developed by the European Union (EU) to enhance security and better manage migration flows entering the Schengen Area, compromised of 30 countries. Frontex, the European border and coast guard agency, stated in 2021 that it estimated 1.4 billion people will need to apply for an ETIAS before traveling to Europe when the policy comes into effect.
Which nationalities are eligible for ETIAS?
There are currently 60 announced nationalities that are eligible for ETIAS. They are listed below.

Travellers entering the Schengen Area will require an ETIAS. The Schegen Area includes the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland.

How much will the convenience fee be?
The government fee is expected to be EUR 20. Based on this data, the convenience fee will be USD 5 to USD 10. The convenience fee will cover the following:
- Simplified visa process for various travel plans, encompassing solo, group, single-destination, and/or multi-destination trips.
- Access to our customer service team that provides personalized assistance for visa requirements and inquiries.
- Qualify for service fee refunds and waiver for reapplications.
